Overview

A ticketing and voting platform for Ghana — MoMo-first checkout, live leaderboards, and on-site QR check-in.

Organizers were stitching together payments, ticket lists, and award-night voting. Phone checkouts dropped off. Live votes could not be trusted mid-show.

One platform for ticket sales, live voting, SMS and email confirmation, and organizer tools — with MTN, Vodafone, AirtelTigo, and cards at checkout.

Outcome

What changed after launch.

Organizers run events on it. Tickets confirm instantly. Award nights keep a live leaderboard without a spreadsheet in the wings.

What we learned

MoMo has to feel native, not bolted on. If voting is the night’s product, it cannot share a fragile checkout.
